View of forest lake in moon light was painted by well-renowed Russian landscape artist Count Vladimir Léonidovitch Muravioff ( 1861 - 1915). The artist studied in the St.Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts (landscape class) by M.K.Klodt since1881. He exhibited his first painting "Autumn evening" in 1885. Member of the exhibitions by different art unions of St. Petersburg. In 1893 took place his first personal exhibition . In 1922 he worked as theater painter in Drama theater. Famous russian landscape painter, best his motives wereliric forestscapes with animals.
