Early religious painting attributed due to the style, quality and provenance to czech good-listed historical painter Vaclav (Wenzel) Manes ( 1793 - Praque - 1858). He was historical, portrait and landscape painter and lithographer in praque . Brother of another famous painter Antonin, Manes studied by J.Bergler , 1829/1832 - lived in Rome , in 1835 untill 1841 - professor in the Art Academy in Praque. His historical and religion paintings situated in Czech Nat.Gallery .
