Fine miniature portrait from the 19th century created by an renowed Austrian portrait and miniature painter Albert Theer (1815-1902). Brother of ánother Austrian miniature painters Robert and Adolf Theer, Albert Theer studied in the Etching Department of Vienna Fine Arts Academy and in 1835 began his carrier as miniature painter and lithographer. In Theer´s works one can immediately see the influence of Moritz Michael Daffinger, most renowed Austrian miniature painter. From 1835 Theer frequently exhibited his works.
