Two family portraits from the biedermeier epoche created in 1845 by Austrian portrait and historical artist Johann Franz Mattias Baptist III Ritter von Lampi (1807 Vienna - 1857 Vienna). He was a son Austrian portrait painter Johann Baptist Lampi the junior (1775 - 1837) and grandson of Johann Baptist Ritter von Lampi senior (1751-1830).His works (portraits and figure studies) were exhibited in the Vienna Academy to St.Anna in 1840-1850 . According to Artist Lexicon by Thieme/Becker he lived and worked in Russia /St.Petersburg, Italy and South Tyrol.
