Early miniature on ivory (ca.1820s), depickting the young lady in white dress . On the reverse of  the lether cover there are original old labels with the name of sitter and author  : "Else Fakheim Falkenheim, died 1833 , Bertoni ".

Inscription: unsigned, on the reverse old labels with names of sitter and painter .

Technique: gouache on ivory. Bronze mount, setting in the lether case. Measurements: image  w 3 1/2" x h 4 1/3 " (9 x 11 cm);  framed w 8 1/4" x h 9 1/2" (21 x 24 cm), open case w 10 1/4" x h 9 1/2 " (26 x 24 cm) 

Condition: in very good condition
