Alexander Johann Dallinger von Dalling (1783 -Vienna - 1844 ) was a well-known painter and etcher in Vienna during the 1st half of the 19th century. Pupil of his father Johann I Dallinger von Dalling, he was active as animalist and genre painter and restorer.

Inscription: signed and dated 1830, lower right.
Technique: oil / cradled wood panel. Beautiful original period frame partially gold-plated.
